HTL Group is one of the world’s leading sofa and furniture manufacturers with a strong global presence. We design, manufacture, and distribute premium upholstery furniture to international markets, combining craftsmanship, comfort, and contemporary design.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Area Sales Manager to cover assigned sales regions. This is an individual contributor role focused on managing existing independent furniture retailers, developing new accounts, and driving sales growth for HTL’s product range.

Role Overview

As the Area Sales Manager, you will manage key retail accounts and build long-term relationships with independent furniture retailers in your region. You will be responsible for promoting HTL’s product range, providing in-store product training, and supporting retailers to maximize sales performance.

This role suits a self-driven individual with a strong interest in furniture and home furnishings, and 2–3 years of sales experience, ideally from the furniture or retail sales industry, who is ready to step into a regional sales role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
