The Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales across the North West area with a focus between Liverpool & Manchester, selling a range of electrical, heating, cooling and ventilation products into reseller channels including electrical wholesalers, merchants, DIY and retail businesses.
The role is heavily focused on new business development, with around 20 customer visits per week and responsibility for managing your pipeline, CRM activity, margins and account development. Around 75% of your sales activity will focus on the company's own developing HVAC range, with the remainder covering complementary electrical products from a host of market leading manufacturers & brands.

The Location
Field based across North West England, with a focus between Liverpool & Manchester, but going North into Cumbria and South towards Staffordshire. Ideally, you will live within your territory and be comfortable travelling extensively, with around four days per week spent in the field and one day working from home.
Requirements
- Proven B2B field sales experience with an appetite for a new business focus
- Confident selling into reseller or trade channels in a face to face environment
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of margins and sales performance
- Self-motivated, accountable and comfortable managing your own territory
- Full UK driving licence

The Package
- £42,000 basic salary, with scope to increase for the right experience
- £6,000 commission, paid quarterly
- £6,000 car allowance per annum (with mileage)
