Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience within power transmission, chain drives or conveyors would be advantageous.

A sales-related or technical qualification would be beneficial.

What the Role Involves

This is a highly field-based position, with an expectation of approximately four days per week spent with customers and around 35-40 customer visits per month.

Your time will be split approximately equally between developing distribution business and identifying new direct/OEM customer opportunities. The role will require regular travel across the territory, including occasional overnight stays.

You will work as part of a wider UK commercial team, collaborating with colleagues across sales and the wider business to maximise opportunities and deliver sustainable growth.

If you are an ambitious, proactive sales professional who enjoys winning new business, developing customer relationships and taking ownership of a territory, this could be an excellent opportunity to take your next career step.
