Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Location: Cotswolds, Field-based
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 basic salary, plus bonus package and car allowance
You entered medical sales to make a genuine difference to patients’ health and wellbeing. But in many commercial roles, it can be difficult to see the full impact of your work across the patient journey.
We have an exciting position for you to join a fast-growing organisation where you can see that impact first-hand.
If you are commercially driven, passionate about healthcare and motivated by making a tangible difference to patients, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career while genuinely contributing to the patient journey.
Who is this opportunity for?
Our client is a fast-growing and innovative healthcare organisation delivering dynamic solutions across multiple therapy areas, with a clear focus on improving outcomes for patients across the UK.
As an Area Sales Manager for the Oxford and the Cotswolds region, you will take ownership of growth across your territory, working across Primary, Secondary and Community Care and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, consultants, nurses and other key stakeholders across a range of chronic care areas.
You will combine consultative selling, clinical education and customer training to support healthcare professionals in delivering better outcomes for their patients. Alongside developing your territory and delivering against commercial KPIs, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business to maximise opportunities and share best practice.
A key part of the role will be working closely with nurse advocates and other healthcare professionals, helping them understand the benefits of the products and how they can support patients in practice. This gives you the opportunity to see your products being used in real-world settings and, importantly, to see the positive impact they can have on patients’ lives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
