Area Sales Manager
Due to growth, our client, who is a market leading manufacturer and supplier of Flat Roofing solutions is looking to hire a Specification salespeople/ Area Sales Managers to cover Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire. If you have sold a technical construction product/building envelope solution to Architects, Specifiers and Contractors and would like to know more then read below and apply ASAP.
The Role
As Area Sales Manager/Specification Sales Manager your role is to sell the company's manufactured range of specialist flat roofing solutions.
This is a Field/home based covering the postcodes of HP, MK, AL, LU, SG, CB and PE across Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire.
The ASM/ Specification sales manager will be selling into a mix of Architects, Specifiers, End Users/Building Owners, Local Authorities, Main Contractors and Approved Contractors.

This is winning refurbishment projects in commercial, residential, retail and leisure, such as schools, housing, leisure centres, retail parks etc.

The Area Sales Manager, Specification Manager will utilise the Company database to glean information.
- Prepare and deliver CPD seminars / presentations.
- Liaison with the Marketing Department / external telesales and internal teams.
- Liaison with the Technical Department – Technicians and Administrators to resolve technical queries and progression of detail drawings.
The Successful Candidate
As ASM/Specification sales manager, you must have a proven track record of success within construction field sales.
- Sold a relevant product, roofing would be great but building envelope products is a must, although one of their best salespeople had sold kitchens to the construction industry.
- You must be living in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire or Cambridgeshire.
- Sold to Architects, Specifiers, Local Authorities and Contractors
- You will have strong presentation skills.
- A genuine people person/relationship builder.

The Remuneration
- Up to £55k basic, £80k+ ote for top performers.
