Non-Residential Specification Sales Manager

The Role:

The Specification Sales Manager role is working for an instantly recognisable brand within the sanitaryware & bathroom product manufacturing sector. You will be covering an area across the East Anglia, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, and Northern Home Counties. In this role, the Specification Sales Manager will be selling two core branded ranges of sanitaryware such as sinks, toilets, baths, showers, and taps used in non-residential setting projects across the territory. These applications are within healthcare & hospitals, education, hotel groups and commercial buildings.

The Specification Manager will be focused on generating specification with Architects & Interior Designers (5%) and then working with the Contractors on the patch (95%) on these products. As a result, there is huge scope to break existing specifications and manage that process from cradle to grave.

The Specification Sales Manager position will see you become a member of a team in the South of England where you will all benefit from dealing with National Contractors & Developers working across your different areas. You will be focused on your top 50 projects at any one time and activity in this area is key. This business are one big team and you will be able to pass leads to your colleagues whilst receiving them the other way if the project is on your patch. All activity targets are geared towards a common sales target which really consolidate their team culture and collaborative working environment. You will have Salesforce to manage your projects & pipeline, alongside Glenigan to support your lead generation.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Have a 'hunter' mentality to sales activity within the construction industry
  • A hunger, desire, and passion to find new projects
  • Understanding of the sales process within the non-residential construction industry
  • Clear communicator both written and verbal
  • Team player, organised, and have strong sales potential
  • Full & Clean Driving licence

Salary:

Up to £45,000 basic salary DOE + 25% OTE (with a large proportion guaranteed in year one) + Hybrid Car + Pension (up to 10% company contribution) + healthcare scheme + 25 days holiday
