Area Sales Manager (Northern England & Scotland)

Electrical & Electronic Components

North UK + Home Based
£55,000 - £65,000 Basic Salary + Bonus + Company Car + 38 days holiday including bank holidays + Healthcare + Pension + Gym Membership

We are recruiting for an industry-leading manufacturer of circuit protection and power distribution solutions used across some of the world's most demanding engineering and industrial environments.

With over 75 years of innovation, more than 1,400 employees worldwide, operations in over 60 countries, and a reputation for engineering excellence, our client supplies market-leading electrical and electronic protection products into sectors including vehicle manufacturing, automation, process control, industrial engineering, telecommunications, and data centres.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a financially stable, family-owned technology business that continues to invest heavily in innovation, product development, and long-term growth.

The Opportunity

As Area Sales Manager for the North, you will take ownership of an established territory spanning Northern England and Scotland, developing relationships with existing customers whilst identifying and converting new business opportunities across key target sectors. This is not a transactional sales role.

You will be working with customers on technically driven projects, often involving long sales cycles, high-value opportunities, and consultative solution selling. The position offers a genuine mix of account management and new business development, allowing you to build long-term partnerships while driving sustainable revenue growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
