About This Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering agreed quarterly and annual sales budgets while developing strategic local and national customer accounts. You will combine your own sales activity with local business development, helping Dawsongroup Vans identify new opportunities and strengthen its position across the market.
- Develop strategic local and national accounts, building strong and lasting customer relationships.
- Convert new business opportunities through leads, referrals, and proactive prospecting.
- Lead local business development by engaging and motivating sales and hire desk personnel.
- Act as the local figurehead and representative for Dawsongroup Vans.
- Identify and develop potential markets across the geographical area covered by the Ipswich branch.
About You
You will be commercially focused, customer-minded, and confident developing relationships across customers, colleagues, and different Business Units. About Your Future

- Build and develop strategic customer accounts.
- 24 days standard leave allowance + Birthday + plus Bank Holidays + up to 10 days extra (time served and purchase scheme).
- Grow new business through proactive sales and prospecting activity.
- Develop local markets and identify new commercial opportunities.
- Work closely with colleagues across the wider Dawsongroup network.
