Technistone, headquartered in the Czech Republic, is a leading European manufacturer of premium engineered stone surfaces known for timeless design, durability, and versatile interior applications. The company exports its products to numerous countries via an extensive distribution network and local branches, serving both commercial and residential markets. Technistone surfaces are valued by industry professionals for their easy maintenance, non-porous structure, and high resistance to bacteria and scratches. Since 2019, Technistone has been part of Wilsonart® Engineered Surfaces, a world-leading American engineered surfaces company. Its quartz products are widely used in kitchen countertops, vanity units, bars, tiles, stairs, and architectural features, supported by a broad range of colors and patterns.

The Area Sales Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for developing and managing sales within an assigned territory. This includes:

  • Identifying and nurturing relationships with distributors, fabricators, architects, designers, and other key stakeholders to drive revenue and market share.
  • Regular customer outreach, product presentations, negotiations, and participation in trade events.
  • Monitoring competitors and market trends.
  • Collaborating with internal teams on pricing, promotions, and customer service.
  • Ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of sales activities.
  • Ongoing education on Technistone’s product portfolio to provide technical guidance and support to customers and partners.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in territory management, account management, and business development to grow sales within a defined region.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, including experience building long-term partnerships with B2B customers.
  • Ability to conduct customer presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for distributors, fabricators, and design professionals.
  • Experience in market analysis, pipeline management, and sales forecasting using CRM tools or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of building materials, engineered stone, or related interior design products is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multicultural and distributed teams.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory and occasionally internationally for meetings or trade events.
