The company specializes in developing, manufacturing, and marketing innovative construction materials, and offer one of the most extensive product ranges on the market.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and growing our business in the retail and residential market. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and providing excellent customer service:

Responsibilities:

  • Approach building materials specialist contractors and specifiers to understand their needs.
  • Work across a range of construction products, including Resin Flooring, Cementitious screeds, Dry Shakes, and concrete repair.
  • Identify business opportunities by approaching projects of various sizes and engaging with contractors, architects, specifiers, and end users.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with construction industry specialist contractors, architects, and specifiers.
  • Competent in MS Office systems and proficient in using CRM systems.
  • Introduce DCP products and systems, conducting product demonstrations and CPD presentations for potential clients.
  • Work collaboratively with customers to determine their needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate effectively, and close business deals.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments in accordance with agreed terms, including cash payments.
  • Prepare sales forecasts to contribute to financial planning.
  • Establish and control a distribution network to ensure the timely delivery of products.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or any related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in construction sales or related roles in similar industries.
  • Knowledge in cementitious Construction materials, with a particular focus on levelling screeds, dry shakes and concrete repair.
  • Construction and building materials knowledge are a plus.
