THE COMPANY
Armeg Ltd are the UK’s leading manufacturer of performance quality power tool drilling accessories in the UK. We have been designing and making products since 1973. Everything we make is a product of quality materials or rigorous quality control, but true expertise, insight, and knowledge. Over the years, we’ve created products that have revolutionised the way professionals work. We are now seeking an Eastern Area Sales Manager, ideally based around Cambridgeshire, to be instrumental in driving further growth, development, and expansion.
PURPOSE OF JOB
This role is about managing local dealer relationships as part of a distribution-based sales model. You will report to the National Sales Manager whilst you secure, manage, develop, and maintain a portfolio of clients. Experience in both the Power Tool Accessory and Electrical Wholesale markets would be an advantage. The individual would ideally be based in or around Cambridge as this is the central point for the area covered and will involve travel across the territory for client meetings/presentations and contributing to exhibitions and customer trade days. Over the last few years Armeg has successfully delivered year on year sales growth and the ideal candidate will be able to continue this success through a well-managed dealer development strategy. A focus on establishing distribution for new products and the ability to exploit the growth in Armeg brand awareness are essential objectives.
As a key member of our UK field sales team, you will enjoy contributing to the sales development of the business and value a close team-work approach with other commercial functions, as part of a friendly and supportive team.
You will ensure the implementation of that strategy follows a pragmatic approach, aligned with business priorities and the organisations on-going evolution and development.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
