Visum Recruitment are delighted to be representing an established and growing organisation within the industrial supply sector, who are looking to appoint an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop and grow their presence across the Humberside region.

This is a field-based opportunity suited to someone with experience in MRO, industrial, engineering or technical sales, who enjoys building customer relationships, generating new business and taking ownership of their territory.

Job Overview

  • Develop and grow sales opportunities across the Humberside region
  • Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Conduct proactive sales activity, including cold calling and customer visits
  • Take ownership of the territory and develop new ideas to drive growth
  • Work closely with an experienced internal team to maximise sales opportunities
  • Develop knowledge of a broad engineering-focused product range

Job Requirements

  • Previous external B2B sales experience, ideally within an industrial, engineering, technical or MRO environment
  • Strong commercial drive with a genuine appetite for new business
  • Confident communicating with customers and prospects across multiple industries
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and develop technical product knowledge
  • Candidates from relevant crossover industries will also be considered

  • £40,000 – £50,000 salary, dependent on experience
