Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of Ortho UK, this leadership role manages a defined region to achieve overall Sales Goals within specified timescales and parameters. This involves providing direction to Territory Managers, aligning with the UK and Global organization's strategies and values through engagement, development, and coaching.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Liaise with Marketing and Head of Ortho: Assess market potential within the assigned Region, preparing and implementing sales forecasts as required. Propose and implement action plans to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
- Develop Key Relationships: Build and maintain key relationships within the Region, ensuring ClearCorrect remains top of mind for each account. Support the team in growing existing customers and acquiring new ones in a strategically profitable manner.
- Supervise and Evaluate Activities: Oversee the activities of assigned Territory Managers, Clinical Advisors, and Customer Success Managers. Provide leadership, coaching, guidance, and feedback to achieve regional objectives, including co-travelling with direct reports.
- Liaise with Organizational Leadership: Collaborate with leaders across the organization, particularly with other business units, Marketing & Education, Customer Services & Finance, to ensure sales objectives are integrated with other business activities.
- Interpret and Implement Sales Strategies: Ensure compliance with sales strategies and tactics, adhering to legal practices and ISO 9001 quality assurance standards.
- Review and Analyze Data: Analyze data on Salesforce.com, reporting any product issues, loss or potential loss of key customers, or competitive sales strategies to the Head of Ortho. Ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Conduct Regular Meetings: Hold regular meetings with the Regional Sales Team to ensure consistent application of company sales strategy and policies, responding to regional and UK-wide issues.
- Maintain and Grow Business: Ensure new techniques and digital workflows are prioritized with the team and customers.
- Leadership and Recruitment: In collaboration with HR, manage the leadership, recruitment, selection, development, and performance management of direct reports.
- Sales Budget Management: Design, implement, and ensure compliance with local sales budgets within the allocated expense budget. Monitor the cost and effectiveness of sales activities to optimize resources and prioritize spending.
- Support Territory Managers: Assist Territory Managers with major prospects, potential customers, and key customers by helping them build their business through engagement, understanding business drivers, and proposing tailored Straumann solutions to improve profitability.
- Identify Opportunities: Create leads for the broader group portfolio, especially within the DSO space.

Education
- Preferably degree educated or equivalent.
Work Experience
- Significant sales/commercial leadership experience (5 years+).
- Ability to extract and interpret data – experience of SFDC is an advantage.
- Experience in providing innovative, thought-provoking solutions to business issues and a consultative sales approach.
- Experience in the Dental/Medical Device market is desirable.
