Area Sales Manager – Electrical Manufacture
I’m working with a growing manufacture within the electrical industry that’s looking to add an experienced Area Sales Manager to the team. This is a great opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of its growth, where you’ll have plenty of freedom to build relationships, win new business and really make your mark.
The Role
This is a proper field-based sales role – you'll be out meeting customers, developing existing accounts and looking for new opportunities across your territory.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Growing sales and developing your territory
- Winning new B2B customers and building long-term relationships
- Managing and growing existing accounts
- Getting out in front of customers and understanding their requirements
- Working across the commercial lighting and electrical wholesale market
- Negotiating deals and managing the sales process from start to finish
- Keeping an eye on competitors and new opportunities
- Working closely with the internal sales and marketing teams
- Managing your own diary, pipeline and sales activity

What They're Looking For
You don't need to tick every box, but you'll ideally have:
- 2+ years B2B sales experience
- Electrical wholesale experience
- A proven track record of winning and developing business
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- A self-motivated, driven approach
- A full UK driving licence

Location
