Area Sales Manager Bathroom Brassware
Job Title: Area Sales Manager Bathroom Brassware
Industry Sector: KBB, Bathrooms, Bathroom Taps, Brassware, Showers, Sanitaryware, Tapware, Independent Bathroom Retailers, Plumbers Merchants and Buying Groups
Area to be covered: Scotland & Ireland
Remuneration: £45,000 neg. + £10,000 Uncapped Commission
Benefits: Fully expensed Hybrid Car & Benefits
Role Overview
The role of the Area Sales Manager Bathroom Brassware will involve:
- Field sales position, promoting a distributed range of bathroom taps, showers, accessories and fittings
- Selling into independent bathroom retailers and buying groups; NBG, Fortis, IPG, Bathcom and UKPS
- One week in six spent in Ireland
- Ireland had about 20 shops and a turnover of £300,000-400,000, no need to recruit any more bathroom retailers, Scotland £150,000 about 20-30 trading accounts but needs to grow to circa 100-120 bathroom retailers
- 50% new business development, you will be expected to recruit approx. 4 new bathroom retail showrooms/ buying group members per month (Scotland only)
- 50% account managing existing independent bathroom retailers/ buying group members
- Customer accounts typically turning over £5,000-£10,00 but can be much larger (£60,000+)
- Utilising your own retail showroom customer contacts as well as our clients lead via groups such as UK Plumbing Supplies, Bathcom, NBG, Fortis and IPG
- Required to conduct 5+ client meetings per day

Ideal Applicant
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Bathroom Brassware with:
- Proven track record of field sales from within the bathroom industry
- Must have sold into bathroom retail showrooms/ plumbers merchants and buying group members e.g. (NBG, Fortis and lesser extent UKPS as well as MKM, Plumbase etc.
- New business and account management mentality
- Ideally with contacts within the independent bathroom retail/ buying group member communities
- Self motivated
