Area Sales Manager - Construction Products
Location: South West & South Wales
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Company Car/Allowance
Are you a driven and commercially focused Area Sales Manager with strong relationships across merchants, contractors and distributors in the South West and South Wales?
We're recruiting for a successful and growing manufacturer supplying specialist construction products into merchant and contractor channels. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a territory with significant untapped potential and make a real impact from day one.

This is a field-based role covering South West England and South Wales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales across South West England and South Wales
- Build relationships with merchants, plumbing merchants, contractors, and installers
- Identify, win, and develop new business opportunities
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts
- Follow up quotations, project leads, and specifications
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and project surveys
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through CRM
- Deliver sales growth against agreed territory targets

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a field sales role within construction products
- Strong understanding of merchant and contractor sales channels
- A proven track record of winning new business
- Well-connected within the South West and South Wales construction market
- Self-motivated, energetic, and highly driven
- Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
