PURPOSE
As an Area Sales Manager at Algeco UK, you will be responsible for overseeing sales efforts within a designated area of postcodes. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the modular space industry.

Algeco UK is the leader in modular accommodation not only in the UK but around the world. We provide more buildings for hire than anyone else, including modular buildings for sale and rent, and off-site permanent buildings for sale for temporary, semi-permanent and permanent use.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hunting and developing specific leads from market information (e.g. Glenigans), centrally provided data and prospecting within area both by telephone and site & customer visits
- Growing the relationships and revenue of the accounts identified to ensure repeat business.
- Owning and converting leads & opportunities provided by inbound and outbound Internal Sales Executives.
- Identifying opportunities for new products and services that will strengthen our offering to our customers and deliver a good return on investment.
- Delivering quality sales proposals in response to tenders and enquiries from customers
- Ensuring clear boundaries and hand-offs between sales functions are followed on a day-to-day basis
- Where required, prepare tailored presentations to key clients and deliver in a competent and professional manner.
- Create, and maintain relevance of Account Plans for each owned account.
- Quarterly reviews with all owned accounts (more frequently or less if customer driven), focusing on the previous quarter, forecast for upcoming, SOW, and ongoing strategy updates.
- Regularly carry out field visits to customer’s sites
- Working with the Regional Director to support the development and implementation of customer specific sales strategies.
- Identifying and developing proposals for existing & emerging markets, product development & innovation and customer solutions
- Understanding the competitor landscape

- Possess and entrepreneurial attitude towards winning business.

- Is a focused and driven Area Sales Manager who strives to exceed their targets.
- Is a first-class relationship builder who is at ease with the Algeco matrix organisation and able to work cross functionally.
- Takes pride in their excellent sales skills and constantly strives for further improvement.
- Is not averse to change and can communicate process improvements effectively.
- Follows the company processes and standards to the letter of the law.
- Has a full driving licence.
