Role Description
The Area Sales Manager – Electrical Wholesale (Munster Ireland) is a full-time, on-site role located in Liverpool, responsible for developing and growing sales across the electrical wholesale channel in the Munster region. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves:
- Regular customer visits
- Product presentations
- Staff training at wholesale branches
- Participation in trade events to strengthen brand visibility and market share
The Area Sales Manager will:
- Monitor regional sales performance
- Prepare forecasts and reports
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, technical support, and customer service to ensure effective sales campaigns and customer satisfaction
The position also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to inform sales strategies and support sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and account management skills, including experience in field sales and relationship building within the electrical wholesale or related sectors.
- Solid knowledge of electrical products such as LED lighting, wiring accessories, EV chargers, circuit protection, and portable power solutions.
- Ability to plan and execute regional sales strategies, including territory management, pipeline development, and performance reporting.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver training and product demonstrations to diverse audiences.
- Comfort working on-site and visiting customer locations regularly, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the Munster region as required.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in basic IT tools and CRM systems to manage accounts and track activities.
- Previous experience in electrical wholesale, distribution, or a related industry is highly beneficial; knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient solutions is an advantage.
- Relevant education in business, sales, electrical engineering, or a related field.
