Market-leading company Area Sales Manager
Are you a driven field sales professional who thrives on winning new business while growing existing accounts?
I'm working on behalf of a market-leading business that's continuing to invest in its sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, financially strong organisation with an outstanding reputation for customer service and an extensive range of hire solutions. This is a true territory management role where you'll be responsible for developing existing customers, identifying new business opportunities and increasing revenue across multiple product divisions.
What you'll be doing:
- Growing sales within an established customer base through cross-selling a broad range of hire solutions.
- Winning new business from contractors, construction companies, industrial customers and commercial businesses.
- Managing and developing key accounts to maximise long-term revenue.
- Building relationships with decision-makers including Procurement, Operations, Site Managers, Health & Safety and Directors.
- Producing quotations, negotiating commercial agreements and closing new opportunities.
- Identifying dormant and underperforming accounts and re-engaging customers.
- Working closely with depot and operational teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Managing your pipeline through CRM and delivering against ambitious sales targets.

What we're looking for:
- Proven success in a field-based B2B sales, business development or account management role.
- Experience selling into construction, industrial, engineering, plant hire, tool hire, builders merchants or related sectors would be advantageous.
- A confident relationship builder who enjoys spending time with customers.
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, organised and target-driven.
- Full UK driving licence.
