Area Sales Manager - Construction & Environmental Services

Territory: LE / NG / DE

The Role of Area Sales Manager

This is a home / field-based Area Sales Manager role covering the LE, NG and DE regions. You will have full ownership of your territory, managing your diary and developing a regional growth strategy focused on both customer retention and new business development.

You will be responsible for managing and developing existing customer relationships while strategically winning new accounts across the construction sector. As Area Sales Manager, you will sell specialist construction and environmental services into both sub-contractors and main contractors, developing long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities to grow revenue within your territory.

This varied role will see you networking with local construction companies, demolition businesses and subcontractors, while also building relationships with larger national main contractors operating within the region. You will develop relationships with key decision makers including business owners, site managers, procurement teams, commercial managers and sustainability contacts, understanding customer requirements and delivering solutions that support their operational, compliance and environmental objectives.

The Area Sales Manager will look to grow existing accounts, identify new opportunities and maximise revenue through account development, cross-selling and building strong customer partnerships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
