The Role
Due to growth, our client is splitting their star salesperson's territory, to create this new, dedicated Area Sales Manager role, where you'll be selling a broad range of medium to high end bathroom and sanitary-ware products, such as baths, showers, brassware, heating, accessories, towel rails, mirrors, cabinets etc.
You'll be covering London north of the Thames inside the M25, plus Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.
As Area Sales Manager, you'll be looking after and developing relationships with approximately 180 spending accounts, as well as targeting new showroom accounts and lapsed accounts across your territory, so lots to be working on.

Our client is innovative, so you'll be introducing new product lines to your customers very regularly.
As ASM, your role will include gaining space within the retail showroom/merchant/bathroom retailer, developing and retaining customer loyalty and showcasing the products and demonstrating the many benefits of working with our client.
You will also be tasked in identifying potential customers.
The KPIs for the Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, will include achieving monthly sales targets, displays gained, new accounts opened and product training completed.
This is a home/field based role, making typically 4 or 5 quality face to face meetings per day.
The Successful Candidate
The successful Area Sales Manager will have a track record of sales success, ideally in the construction industry.
Experience of working for or selling to bathroom showrooms, distributors, merchants or retailers would be advantageous but not essential.

The Company
Well established, family run business, selling innovative medium to top end products to the bathroom and sanitaryware sector.
The Remuneration
- £47k- £52k Basic salary, dependent on experience.
- Monthly commission, giving on target earnings of an additional circa £12k but uncapped.
- VW Tiguan hybrid company car, or £550 per month car allowance.
- 24 days holidays plus your Birthday off, plus 8 bank holidays.
- 3% employer pension contribution, 5% from the employee.
- Mobile, laptop, all out of pocket expenses.
