Exciting Career Opportunity as an Area Sales Manager at Linde Material Handling.

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager to take on the Area Sales Manager role covering the S postcode area.

The main focus of the role is to maximise all business opportunities of both new and used trucks by selling the full range of Linde Material Handling equipment to all business types. Working together with other departments, the Area Sales Manager will ensure agreed service levels are maintained and customers retained.

Responsibilities include;

  • Maintain relationships and further develop business opportunities with existing customers
  • Hit volume targets, market share and coverage
  • Day to day planning of prospecting in line with the required levels of sales activity
  • Accurate weekly forecast as required
  • Identify customer requirements and undertake site surveys
  • Produce accurate quote for orders
  • Ensure complete and clean order packs are delivered to Sales Administration
  • Present quote to customer in an effective manner including financial solutions
  • Demonstration of products where appropriate

Tasks and Qualifications:

We’re interested in candidates with:

  • Industry experience is a strong ideal, but Capital Equipment or Engineering experience will be considered
  • Direct sales experience (B2B)
  • Commercially minded with strong business acumen
  • PC literate
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Numerical competence
  • Self-motivated
  • Resilient
  • Strong attention to detail
