Area Sales Manager

Ben Burgess, Ellington | Full-time | OTE £50,000

We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Area Sales Manager focussing on agricultural equipment sales to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing an existing customer base while also identifying new business opportunities. If you thrive in a fast-paced, field-based sales environment and have a passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving Sales & Growth – Manage a portfolio of brands, securing both new and repeat business.
  • Building Customer Relationships – Be a trusted advisor, matching products/services to customer needs.
  • Managing the Full Sales Cycle – From lead generation to demos, finance solutions, and after-sales follow-up.
  • Representing Ben Burgess – Attend customer-focused events and ensure every interaction is first-class.
  • Collaborating with Teams – Work closely with finance, marketing, and depot managers to maximise opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2-3 years' experience in agricultural sales, ideally in high-value equipment (£100k+ unit price).
  • A results-driven individual with a strong track record in sales success.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills with a professional approach.
  • Tech-savvy mindset – experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work extended hours when needed.
  • Seasonal & Weekend Availability – Weekend and harvest availability will be required to meet customer demands.
