Role Responsibilities
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Kitchen Worktops/ slabs will involve:
- Field sales role selling a manufactured range of large format slabs for kitchen worktops
- Acting as a product champion for large format slabs in the South of the country
- 70% of your time managing and developing circa 100 kitchen studio’s and independent kitchen and bathroom retailers
- 30% of your time managing and growing approx. 10-15 stonemasons/ worktop fabricators
- Growing kitchen worktop revenue from £175,000 to £250,000 in year one
- Circa 15 customer visits per week
- Overnight stays when required, covering a large area
- Travel 3-4 times a year to Spain and Italy
- Assisting with merchandising, training, developing and nurturing kitchen studio’s, kitchen & bathroom retailers as required

Ideal Applicant Requirements
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Kitchen Worktops/ Slabs with:
- Must have kitchen worktops field sales experience, will consider a mix of worktop slabs and tiles
- 2 years+ field sales experience
- Prior experience of having sold into kitchen studio’s, merchants, retail showrooms, stonemasons or worktop fabricators desirable
- Hardworking/ honest
- Professional and prepared with strong organisation and territory management capability
- Prepared to do high UK mileage and happy to travel abroad when required
