FMH Conveyors UK is seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Area Sales Manager to develop and grow sales of conveyor equipment and integrated material handling solutions across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and winning opportunities directly with end users across multiple industries, including logistics, parcel, retail, e-commerce, warehousing, manufacturing, and third-party logistics (3PL). This role combines strategic business development with consultative solution selling. The Area Sales Manager will work closely with customers to understand operational challenges and develop tailored conveyor and systems solutions that deliver measurable business benefits.

Qualifications
Essential
- Proven track record in B2B technical sales, business development, or area sales management.
- Experience selling capital equipment, material handling solutions, automation systems, conveyors, warehouse equipment, or related industrial products.
- Demonstrated ability to sell directly to end users.
- Strong consultative and solution-selling approach.
- Ability to identify customer needs and develop commercially viable solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.

Desirable
- Experience within conveyors, warehouse automation, intralogistics, parcel handling, or material handling industries.
- Understanding of warehouse operations, fulfilment centres, logistics, and distribution environments.
- Experience selling engineered-to-order or project-based solutions.
- Knowledge of ROI analysis and value-based selling methodologies.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics.
