Sales Area Manager UK

Selection 4.0, a technological Search & Selection Company based in Switzerland, specialized in hunting Middle-Top Management Candidates worldwide, is searching for an:

Sales Area Manager UK

for a multinational fast-growing company, European leader in designing, producing, and commercializing industrial transformers worldwide.

Mission

Reporting to the Sales Manager UK, you will ensure both the management and development of the business in the United Kingdom, including the achievement of all commercial targets, in accordance with the company’s strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management of the relationship between the company and customers, in order to get competitive advantages for the company;
  • Identifies and qualifies new customers and proposes the organizational development of business opportunities;
  • Manages new and existing opportunities with a defined set of accounts within the UK & Ireland, ideally with a focus on Southern England;
  • Prepares accurate and comprehensive quotations inline with the agreed timescales;
  • Recognizes and implements the most commercially viable solutions for accounts;
  • Develops a thorough knowledge of the business and culture of clients within a sector and uses this to develop relationships and opportunities.

Knowledge and Experience

  • HND or Engineering Degree, preferred in electrical engineering disciplines;
  • At least 5 years’ experience at electric manufacturing companies (LV and/or MV transformers or switchgears, control panels, power stations);
  • History of working effectively with clients and delivering quantifiable excellence;
  • Good knowledge of the national market.
