Area Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Area Sales Manager to join our team, taking responsibility for an established sales territory across London!

This is a field-based role suited to someone who enjoys being in front of customers, building strong relationships and, importantly, creating new business opportunities in and around the London Area.

Frontline Bathrooms, part of the Huws Gray Group, is an established bathroom distributor supplying independent bathroom showrooms, merchants and trade customers across the UK. With a broad product portfolio, continued development of our Aqua own-brand proposition and significant investment in new products, this is an exciting opportunity to join the business and take ownership of an important sales territory.

What we are looking for?

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales and profitability across your territory through a combination of managing existing customers, growing underperforming accounts and identifying and winning new business. You will be expected to manage your area as your own business, developing strong relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to increase our share of their bathroom business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing an established portfolio of customers across the London territory.
  • Identifying, targeting and opening new accounts.
  • Growing sales within existing customers through regular, effective account management.
  • Building strong relationships with independent bathroom showrooms, merchants and trade customers.
  • Securing new product displays and increasing the presence of Frontline and Aqua products within customer showrooms.
  • Presenting and launching new products, ranges and promotional activity to customers.
  • Identifying opportunities within individual accounts and developing clear plans to convert those opportunities into sales.
  • Reactivating dormant and lapsed customers.
  • Negotiating commercially and working within agreed pricing and margin parameters.
  • Maintaining an effective call plan and ensuring appropriate coverage of the territory.
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of customer activity and opportunities through the company’s CRM system.
  • Monitoring sales performance against budget and taking ownership of delivering agreed sales targets.
  • Providing regular feedback on competitor activity, pricing, products and wider market developments.
  • Working closely with internal sales, customer service, stock, marketing and other departments to provide customers with a high level of service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We’re looking for an Area Sales Manager who can take ownership of the territory, build relationships, spot opportunities and turn those opportunities into sales. You’ll have the support of an established national business, a strong product portfolio and an experienced sales team, but you’ll also be given the responsibility to make the area your own.

What’s in it for you:

  • A strong annual leave allowance, alongside your bank holidays
  • Company car
