Mission Rubber UK are a part of the worldwide leader Mission Rubber Group for Flexible Rubber Couplings & rubber seals for drainage. Covering the UK Market and Ireland, we are supported by our German head office to service the construction industry.
Job Overview
We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing sales within the Middle of England, South Coast & Wales. The Sales Manager will focus on growing sales with the current customer base, look to grow the sales with potential new customers and help target customer groups that include Builders Merchants and Drainage Specialist.
This role offers the successful Candidate numerous opportunities of growth and experience in a market place where we have ample opportunities to gain market share.
Key Responsibilities of the role
- Effectively manage and develop sales through the stockists and merchants already associated with Mission Rubber.
- Promote sales by effective customer service and generally raise awareness of the Company and its products throughout the sales territory.
- Give advice to stockists and new customers on product displays & positioning.
- Ensure all customer requirements are followed up, maximising sales as far as possible while strictly adhering to dispatch and administration procedures at all times.
- Maintain an up to date industrial and commercial knowledge of competitors, products and price.
- Work directly with the Directors of the company to target potential merchant groups, OEM customers and independent customers that specialise in our target audience.
- Work in association with our market leading internal sales team to assist in generating and securing further sales where possible.

Essential Skills and Philosophy Required
- Excellent Communication Skills (written and vocal).
- Negotiation Skills.
- Full Driving License.
- Sales experience.
- Proven track record to build relationships with new customers.
- Self-motivated.
- Team Player.
- Well Organised.
- Ability to plan and prepare for client meetings.
- Computer skills on Microsoft packages.
- Well Presented.
