Area Sales Manager (North UK)

Competitive Salary + Benefits (Dependent upon experience)

Field-Based

Our client is an international manufacturer of construction chemicals, supplying high-performance solutions into professional and industrial markets. With a strong focus on product quality, technical support and innovation, the business continues to invest in its product portfolio and distribution capability to support sustained growth across the UK and wider European markets.

About the Role

As Area Sales Manager, you will take ownership of sales performance across a Northern UK territory, driving growth through both existing and newly acquired customers. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will be responsible for developing and executing a regional sales strategy that increases market penetration, strengthens distribution partnerships and delivers sustainable revenue growth.

The role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities while building long-term relationships with merchant, distribution and end-user customers. Working closely with distribution partners, you will ensure the effective promotion and positioning of the company's product portfolio, supporting customers through regular visits, product demonstrations and commercial engagement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
