Job Title: Area Sales Manager Porcelain Surfaces/ Slabs

Area to be covered:

North of Thames up to Milton Keynes

Remuneration:

Up to £48,000 + Up to £10,000 Bonus

Role Description:

The role of the Area Sales Manager Porcelain Surfaces/ Slabs will involve:

  • Field sales role selling a manufactured range of large format porcelain slabs for kitchen worktops, furniture, flooring, wall cladding and facades
  • 70-80% of your time will be spent stimulating demand with kitchen retail showrooms, smaller amount with architects, interior designers, housebuilders
  • Remainder of time ensuring 100% of the revenue is fulfilled through an established base of stone and worktop fabricators
  • Inheriting an area turning over approx... £400,000 (circa 80% of target YTD)
  • Four days per week on the road visiting customers, typically 4-5 appointments per day
  • Assisting with merchandising, training, developing and nurturing kitchen studios, kitchen & bathroom retailers as required

Ideal Applicant:

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Porcelain Surfaces/ Slabs with:

  • 2 years+ field sales experience from within the kitchen & bathroom industry
  • Ideally sold into a mix of customers to include; stone and worktop fabricators, kitchen retail showrooms, architects, interior designers and housebuilders
  • Driven and motivated to succeed
  • Hardworking/ honest
  • Professional and prepared with strong organisation and territory management capability
  • Prepared to do long days as required
