Area Sales Manager – Power Generation

Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Power Generation

Job reference Number: 706982-4773-26246

Industry Sector: Generators, Handling Equipment, Service & Parts, Battery Energy Storage, Rental Companies, Plant Hire, Light Towers, Resellers and Distributors

Areas to be covered: 1 x South and 1 x North

Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 Neg. + 20% Bonus and 50% Stretch Bonus

Benefits: Fully expensed EV or Hybrid Car or £600 per month car allowance & full benefits

Role Description

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Construction Plant Sales will involve:

  • Field sales role, vast majority of your time selling a manufactured range of generators, from small mobile petrol generators up to large scale industrial diesel and gas stationary generators
  • Small amount of time also promoting light towers and battery storage systems
  • Majority of time selling into plant hire companies and rental companies as well as resellers and distributors of generators
  • Budget management and achievement of area turnover target
  • Internal reporting using CRM (salesforce) systems
  • Forecast and sales analysis
  • Management of negotiations and commercial offers
