About This Role
Are you an experienced Area Sales Manager, Field Service Engineer, or Business Development Executive within the vans or automotive rental sector looking for your next challenge? This Area Sales Manager role with Dawsongroup Vans is home-based, with a contractual base in Ipswich, covering Ipswich and the London area, giving you the opportunity to drive growth across a key and high-potential region.
- Deliver agreed quarterly and annual sales targets through proactive business development activity.
- Identify, win, and develop strategic local and national accounts across Ipswich and London.
- Convert new business opportunities from leads, referrals, and self-generated prospecting.
- Act as the local representative for Dawsongroup Vans, building strong and lasting customer relationships.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with national processes and maximise opportunities.
About You
You are a commercially driven sales professional with proven experience in the asset rental or automotive rental industry, confident in both winning new business and growing existing accounts. You understand how to operate in a competitive, price-sensitive market, focusing on service, value, and long-term profitability.

- Proven sales experience within the asset rental or automotive rental industry is essential.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Ability to identify and develop new markets and strategic customer opportunities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Ipswich and London.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills.
