Key Tasks
- To develop strong relationships with dedicated dealers and manage sales development within your assigned region to drive market share growth under the LIFT Strategy, leveraging the full portfolio of machines, attachments, finance solutions, and asset-life services.
- Promotion of the brands and all products within the Manitou range including genuine parts, attachments, maintenance contracts, warranty extensions, connectivity, and finance solutions.
- Develop new markets and customer bases across construction, agriculture, and industrial sectors alongside the dealer network.
- Grow market share by growing dealer sales and brand loyalty.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor dealer performance on a monthly and quarterly basis in collaboration with dealer administration to align with regional growth objectives.
- Monthly update on sales forecast and order intake. Working under the Business Development Manager (Dealer Network) but will be working closely with the sales administration and marketing team.
- Attend all sales meetings, feedback information to dealers, attend and present on Manitou training days throughout the year.
- Provide knowledge & feedback on all dealers, understanding their needs as well as analysing the competition.
- Prepare a sales budget for dealers in conjunction with the BDM & sales director.
- Be responsible for all sales support and discounts to dealers within the designated territory while respecting group internal control policies.
- Update and reporting on a weekly/monthly basis to the BDM.
- Feedback information from the market including competitive intelligence.
- To attend Dealer and Manitou trade shows and represent the company in a smart and professional manner.
- Provide product support to ensure the image of Manitou is maintained and the relationships are strengthened.
- Take responsibility for any demonstration units that are being used and ensure they are managed and utilised efficiently and effectively.
- Developing the dealer network within the designated territory, including delivering training to sales staff, analysing current dealers and investigating potential new dealers.
