AREA SALES MANAGER (Midlands)

£37,000 - £44,200 + Generous uncapped Commission + Car + Private Healthcare + Laptop + Phone

Location: Preferably located Huntingdon / St Neots / Cambourne / Peterborough area - covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Rutland, Suffolk, Warwickshire, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest

We are looking for a new Area Sales Manager, if you have a passion for sales and have a track record of exceeding targets, we want to hear from you!

This is an exciting role to sell the company’s high quality and innovative portfolio of playground equipment to schools & nurseries, local authorities, parish councils, housing developers, landscape architects, leisure operators and community groups.

The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial sales professional, who possesses a proven track record of hitting targets. As an individual, you will be professional and proactive, possessing strong organisational skills, and have a drive to be a winner!

The Role:

Area Sales Manager covering the Midlands of England, covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Rutland, Suffolk, Warwickshire, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest. Therefore, it would be preferable that you are based centrally i.e. Huntingdon / St Neots / Cambourne / Peterborough area with easy access routes to all areas.

Supported by your Head of Field Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales of playground equipment and managing a territory profitably. You will deal with existing business whilst targeting new business and working with your dedicated sales support and marketing functions.

About you:

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of identifying new opportunities
  • Building rapport
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Consistent drive to achieve monthly and annual targets
  • Highly motivated to be a top performer
  • First class account management capabilities
  • Computer literate and experience using sales database/ CRM packages
  • Smartly presented
  • Full, clean driving licence

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in field sales with a track record in exceeding targets (you should be able to demonstrate this through sales awards, appraisal information, monthly figures etc.)

Nice to have: Formal sales training would be an advantage however we are committed to developing individuals during an in-depth induction and mentoring programme. An interest in AI and automation would be advantageous.
