Market leader within the Hire and Sale of Ground Works, Fencing & Hoarding, and General Construction Equipment is seeking a field-based salesperson to cover Bristol, North Somerset/Gloucestershire. Our client has an excellent reputation in the industry. If you have field sales experience within the construction industry, with experience in selling to both small and large contractors, we encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible!
The Role:
As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales and hire of the company's range of Ground Works, Fencing & Hoarding, and General Construction Equipment. The role is new business focused, with some account management, and will involve approximately 20 regularly spending accounts in your area. Your target market includes Main and Sub Contractors within the construction industry.

- Responsibilities:
- Sales and hire of Ground Works, Fencing & Hoarding, and General Construction Equipment
- New business focus with some account management
- Selling to Main and Sub Contractors
- Regular visits to your allocated depot/branch
- Geographical area: Bristol, North Somerset/Gloucestershire
- Meetings in the branch one day a week, with the rest of the time being field/home based
- Great leads provided, excellent support, and backup

The Person:
- Must have field sales experience within the construction industry
- Previous experience of selling into Main/Sub Contractors
- Comfortable being branch based one day per week
- Comfortable being new business focused
- Self-sufficient

The Package:
- Basic Salary: £35k - £40k, dependent on experience
- Commission: Paid quarterly and uncapped, with a realistic year one target of £5k on top
