Company Description
Prokura is a leading supplier of first-fix containment and support solutions for the building services sector.
Our mission is simple: keeping building services in their place by helping wholesalers, merchants and contractors access the right products, in the right specification, when they need them. With UK-held stock, technical product knowledge and reliable delivery, Prokura is building a systems-led presence across the M&E supply chain.
As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a commercially driven Area Sales Manager to develop our presence across the South East.
Role Description
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for delivering profitable sales growth across a defined South East territory.
The role is focused on winning new business, growing existing accounts and increasing Prokura’s visibility with wholesalers, merchants, contractors and trade customers. You will build a clear pipeline of opportunities, convert prospects into active customers and develop long-term relationships that support sustainable revenue growth.
This is a target-driven field sales role for someone who is commercially sharp, highly active in the territory and confident taking ownership of their sales performance.

- Proactively identify, approach and convert new accounts through regular field activity, customer visits, follow-up calls and targeted prospecting

- Open doors with decision makers, understand buying drivers and position Prokura as a reliable supply partner
- Drive sales of Prokura's core product range, including fasteners, fittings, bracketry, threaded rod, slotted channel and related building services products
- Negotiate commercially sound agreements that grow revenue while protecting margin
- Consistently deliver against agreed sales targets, activity expectations and margin objectives

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
