The Role
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to manage and develop Norton’s relationships with its authorised sales partners across a defined geographical territory.
You will be responsible for driving motorcycle, parts, garments and accessories sales within your area, while ensuring sales partners operate in line with Norton’s contractual, commercial and brand standards.
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across the UK, alongside attendance at Norton’s headquarters in Solihull.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage and develop strong, effective relationships with Norton’s authorised sales partners
- Drive motorcycle sales performance across a defined geographical territory
- Drive sales of genuine Norton parts, garments and accessories within the territory
- Monitor and maintain sales partner operating standards in line with contractual and Norton requirements
- Monitor sales partner performance and activity, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Prepare and present KPI reports and supporting documentation to Norton management
- Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial results
- Identify, develop and support new sales partner opportunities within the territory
- Work closely with internal teams to address sales partner requirements and resolve operational or commercial issues
- Support the implementation of Norton sales initiatives, campaigns and commercial programmes across the sales network
- Ensure sales partners consistently represent the Norton brand and deliver a high-quality customer experience

Personal Specification
We’re looking for a commercially focused and relationship-driven sales professional who can build strong partnerships while delivering against challenging sales targets.
- Experience in field sales, area sales or territory management, ideally within the automotive, motorcycle or wider powersports industry
- Proven experience managing and developing a network of dealers, retailers or commercial partners
- A strong understanding of sales performance, KPIs and commercial reporting
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- The ability to analyse sales data and translate insights into practical actions
- A proactive and commercially minded approach to identifying new business opportunities
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple sales partners and priorities
- The confidence to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams
- A genuine passion for motorcycles and the Norton brand
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the territory
