Job Summary
As an Area Sales Manager UK (m/f/d) at BorgWarner Aftermarket Europe GmbH, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing key customer relationships within the UK market. You will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market share for our aftermarket products.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets for the UK region.
- Manage existing customer accounts, fostering strong relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Identify and acquire new customers, expanding BorgWarner's market presence in the UK aftermarket.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential and existing clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for BorgWarner.
- Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze data, and report on progress to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, technical support, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations.
- Represent BorgWarner at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to budgeting processes.
- Maintain comprehensive customer records and sales activity in the CRM system.

Job Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the automotive aftermarket industry.
- Demonstrable experience managing key accounts and developing new business.
- Strong understanding of the UK automotive aftermarket landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK.
- Valid UK driving license.
