The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales for Snorkel's product range selling to existing accounts and obtaining new business.
Responsibilities:
- Identify key decision makers within powered access rental companies throughout the area of responsibility and develop close relationships necessary to maximize sales opportunities for the company’s products and services.
- Make effective presentations, training and demonstrations as required at locations throughout the area of responsibility to the customer base.
- Identify and develop relationships with end user clients.
- Develop relationships with key major contractors to ensure Snorkel products and accessories are understood and are seen as major USPs.
- Effectively interact with colleagues from other departments to improve service levels for customers and dealers.
- Effective use and contribute to CRM system, ensuring all information is accurate and reliable.
- Develop sales to regional tool hire companies within your geographical area by way of demonstrations, attending supplier open days and assisting where required.
- Co-ordinate fast and effective responses to all requests for assistance from customers within the area of responsibility via your territory team and the support network.
- Produce sales forecasts and reports in the specified format updated monthly for the area of responsibility.
- Ensure all sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Attendance of specific shows, exhibitions, open days and product promotions where required.

Knowledge, skills & experience required:

- High standard of written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English.
- Experience of capital sales into the tool, plant, hire and powered access industry highly advantageous.
- Understanding of finance and finance sales tools would be an advantage.
- Highly self-motivated, dedicated and professional approach able to work with minimum supervision.
- High standards of personal presentation and trustworthiness.
- Good I.T. skills, CRM management and effective reporting ability.
Qualifications required:
- Minimum 5 years BSB sales experience.
- Business administration / marketing experience.
- Product knowledge of access equipment highly valued.
