Ready to represent one of Britain's most respected premium housewares brands?

Are you currently managing independent retail accounts for a premium consumer goods, housewares or homewares business?

Do you enjoy developing relationships, creating exceptional in-store experiences and helping retailers maximise sales?

We're looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to join our UK Trade team and become the face of an award-winning British brand renowned for exceptional design, craftsmanship and quality.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field, working closely with retailers and making a genuine commercial impact.

The Opportunity

You'll inherit an established customer base whilst identifying new opportunities to grow market share across independent retailers and national trade partners.

Every day is different. One day you could be training retail staff in a flagship department store, the next securing additional display space with a garden centre or introducing exciting new collections to an independent retailer.

Your ability to build long-term relationships, create outstanding product presentation and deliver exceptional customer service will be key to your success.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing and developing an established portfolio of retail customers across your territory.
  • Building trusted relationships with store managers, buyers, department managers and independent business owners.
  • Creating inspiring retail displays that maximise product visibility and drive sales.
  • Securing additional merchandising opportunities and promotional space.
  • Delivering engaging product demonstrations and staff training.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and converting prospective stockists.
  • Launching new collections and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitoring stock availability and ensuring excellent retail execution.
  • Reporting market intelligence, competitor activity and customer feedback.
  • Supporting key national accounts with product launches, projects and promotional activity.
  • Working closely with internal teams including sales support, marketing and customer services.
  • Representing the business at trade exhibitions and customer events.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
