š Location: East England, Ideally based around Milton Keynes area but not essential.
About the Business
Osprey Engineering Solutions are hiring for an established supplier of high-quality pumps and related rotating equipment, serving industrial customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Area Sales Manager to represent the business.
āThe Role
As an integral member of the sales team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and promoting a range of high-quality pumps and related products across your territory.
ā Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand market share across your territory.
- Identify and target potential new customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional service and support to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with internal teams ā marketing, engineering and customer service ā to address customer needs, resolve issues and optimise sales opportunities.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, reports and related documentation in a timely manner.
- Promote brand awareness and generate new leads.
- Seek feedback from customers and colleagues to continuously improve product offerings, sales strategy and performance.

āAbout You
- Background in rotating equipment ā pumps, valves, seals, compressors, motors or gearboxes.
- Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within the industrial pump industry or a related field.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers at all levels.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team, with a high degree of professionalism, integrity and reliability.
- Full, valid driving licence.
