ACS Compressed Air Technology Ltd is an authorized premier distributor for ALMiG, a world-leading manufacturer of compressed air systems. The company supplies a wide range of energy-efficient industrial air compressors, nitrogen generators, quality air products, and spare parts. ACS focuses on delivering reliable, high-performance solutions that help industrial clients optimize energy use and reduce operating costs. Team members work closely with customers to provide technical guidance, long-term support, and tailored system recommendations. Joining ACS offers the opportunity to be part of a growing business in a specialized engineering and industrial solutions sector.

Role Description

This full-time Area Sales Manager role is based in Buckinghamshire with a hybrid work model, combining on-site customer visits, office-based work, and some work from home. The Area Sales Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing customer accounts, and promote ACS and ALMiG products within the assigned territory.

  • Preparing quotations
  • Delivering product presentations
  • Negotiating sales agreements

The role also involves collaborating with technical and service teams to ensure successful installation, commissioning, and after-sales support. The Area Sales Manager will monitor market trends, maintain accurate sales records, and report on performance to support strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in field sales or account management, ideally within industrial equipment, engineering, or compressed air systems.
  • Strong commercial skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships, provide consultative sales support, and understand client operational needs.
  • Technical aptitude to learn and explain compressed air systems, nitrogen generators, and related products in clear, practical terms.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools, MS Office applications, and digital communication platforms to track activities and prepare reports.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas.
  • Relevant education or training in business, engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in energy-efficient solutions or industrial gases is beneficial but not mandatory.
