Role Description

The Area Sales Representative is a full-time hybrid role based in Motherwell, with a mix of on-site client visits and some work from home for planning and administration. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, visiting customers across the region, and promoting MV Tyres’ mobile tyre fitting services. The Area Sales Representative will manage a sales pipeline, prepare quotations, negotiate pricing within guidelines, and follow up to close deals. Day-to-day activities include maintaining relationships with existing clients, gathering market and competitor information, and coordinating with the operations team to ensure a smooth customer experience. The role also includes reporting on sales performance, updating CRM or sales records, and contributing ideas to improve local sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in field sales or area sales, ideally within automotive, tyre, or related services.
  • Strong customer relationship and communication skills, with the ability to present services clearly and build trust.
  • Solid organization and time-management abilities to plan routes, manage appointments, and update sales records accurately.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools (email, CRM systems, spreadsheets) and remote collaboration for hybrid work.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly across the assigned area.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of tyres, vehicle maintenance, or automotive services is mandatory.
