Job Title: Business Development Representative Wood Products (6-12 month cover)

Area to be covered:

HU, DN, NG, LN, PE, NR, IP, CM, CO, AL, SG, CB & North East London

Remuneration:

£50,000 + 5-10% bonus

Benefits:

£6,600 annual car allowance or company car & full benefits

The role of the Business Development Representative Wood Products will involve:

  • Field based area position promoting a high quality range of engineered wood products
  • This role is a temporary position for 6-12 months
  • All of your time will be focused on managing one of our client's largest spending national builder merchant accounts (Travis Perkins)
  • Inheriting circa 130 branches to maintain
  • Support with new product launches and development
  • Directly involved with pricing implementation
  • Liaise with internal customer service, marketing, supply team and transport teams
  • Manage vendor performance

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Representative Wood Products with:

  • Must have a field based experience in the building trade
  • Ideally in an area sales or business development role currently
  • Would consider a merchandiser
  • Ideally experience dealing with national merchants and managing accounts
  • Ideally sold timber / wood products however not essential
