Area Sales Manager – Central & Underfloor Heating Systems

Location: East and West Midlands

Salary: £55,000+ / £25,000 Commission / Company Vehicle / Benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and commercially focused Sales Representative to promote and grow sales of our market-leading central heating and underfloor heating systems. The successful candidate will develop relationships with heating contractors, plumbing and heating installers, and contractors across the assigned territory.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with experience in the heating, plumbing, HVAC, or building products sector to join a growing business with a strong product portfolio and excellent technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with heating contractors and installers
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the territory
  • Promote central heating and underfloor heating solutions to contractors and installers
  • Provide product presentations, technical guidance, and training where required
  • Generate project specifications and follow opportunities through to completion
  • Manage existing accounts while actively seeking new customers
  • Work closely with internal technical and customer service teams
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and project pipelines using CRM systems
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven sales experience within heating, plumbing, HVAC, renewables, or building products
  • Strong understanding of central heating and/or underfloor heating systems
  • Experience selling to contractors, installers, merchants, or specification customers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development
  • Ability to manage a sales territory effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
