We are seeking a proactive and experienced Service Area Manager to lead our service operations across Southeast London and drive outstanding performance. πŸš€

Scope of the Role

As the Service Area Manager, you will oversee service delivery across your region, ensuring maintenance and repair operations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will lead a team of field engineers, manage client relationships, optimise resources, and contribute to operational and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • πŸ”Ή Team Leadership & Performance
    • Lead, support, and develop the service team within Southeast London.
    • Manage performance, training, and employee engagement.
  • πŸ”Ή Service Delivery & Planning
    • Allocate workload, plan resources, and ensure timely delivery of all maintenance and repair activities.
    • Monitor key performance indicators such as response times, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • πŸ”Ή Client & Stakeholder Management
    • Maintain strong client relationships with regular communication and service updates.
    • Address escalations promptly and professionally, ensuring positive outcomes.
  • πŸ”Ή Operational & Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor costs, and report on performance.
    • Identify operational improvements and opportunities for area growth.
  • πŸ”Ή Health, Safety & Compliance
    • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
    • Promote a positive safety culture across all operations.

Skills & Experience

  • βœ… Proven experience managing service teams in a technical, engineering, or healthcare environment.
  • βœ… Strong understanding of lift and hoist systems (highly desirable).
  • βœ… Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • βœ… Ability to multitask, prioritise, and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • βœ… Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • βœ… Full UK driving licence.
