About The Role

Area Supervisor

Location: London

Salary: £30,500 per annum

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Mobile / Area Supervisor to join our team in London.

This is a hands-on, field-based role supporting the delivery of high-quality cleaning services across multiple client sites. You will play an important role in ensuring standards are maintained, teams are supported and any issues are identified and resolved quickly.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a mobile, area or multi-site supervisory role, ideally within facilities management or contract cleaning, who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

Spanish-speaking Skills Are Essential For This Role.

Regular travel between sites across London will be required, so you'll need to be comfortable working across multiple locations and managing a varied workload.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction in line with agreed KPIs.
  • Visit and supervise multiple sites across London, ensuring cleaning standards and specifications are consistently achieved.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and site teams.
  • Line manage, support, induct and train frontline operatives.
  • Provide hands-on support to sites where required, including covering cleaning duties when necessary.
  • Monitor attendance, performance and standards across your area.
  • Support the mobilisation of new sites, including site visits, inductions and training.
  • Ensure health & safety requirements are followed across all sites.
  • Conduct stock checks and follow agreed processes for ordering cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Support other supervisors and operational colleagues where required.
  • Maintain accurate records of site visits, activities and communications using SBFM's IT systems.
  • Respond promptly to operational issues and escalations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve service delivery and escalate any concerns to the management team.

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, enjoys being out in the field and can manage multiple priorities effectively.

You Will Ideally Have:

  • Previous experience in a similar Mobile Supervisor, Area Supervisor or multi-site management role.
  • Experience within facilities management or contract cleaning.
  • The ability to hit the ground running and work confidently with minimal supervision.
  • Spanish-speaking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive, flexible and 'can do' approach.
  • The confidence to manage and motivate frontline teams.
  • A strong client focus and commitment to delivering high standards.
  • Good IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification, or willingness to complete this with SBFM.
  • A full, clean driving licence and the willingness to travel between client sites across London.
