Opportunity with the Disability & Home Improvement Team (DHIT)
This multi-disciplinary team provides services to the homes of Greenwich residents across all tenures, with a focus on supporting older and vulnerable residents to live independently in their homes by adapting or improving their home.
The Role
The rewarding post will suit applicants who have a strong commitment to the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable people and an understanding of housing problems faced by older people and those with disabilities and a keen desire to develop the Disability and Home Improvement Service.
Position Details
Area Technical Administrator
Full-time
2-year fixed-term contract
Salary details: £35,520 - £36,585 inc. London Weighting
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical clerical, administrative, and IT support for the Disability and Home Improvement Service. Experience in the use of IT Microsoft packages including Excel, with the ability to upload data and review spreadsheets, is essential.
- Have good general administrative experience
- Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ensure that data collection is accurate, up-to-date, and passed to relevant parties in a timely manner
- Have good telephone and communication skills
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and be willing to support and help others in the team when needed
- Be able to work on your own initiative

Salary
