Key Responsibilities
Based in our Northampton branch, the key responsibilities of this Area Wealth Analyst role will be:
- Providing specialist day to day support to an allocated Wealth Manager whilst also working as part of the overall AWA Team supporting other Wealth Managers in the administration and processing of Wealth products and services
- Supporting the Specialist Retirement Advice (SRA) data gathering process, working with external parties to gather the relevant information for advice to be provided
- Providing an outstanding customer experience to HSBC high net worth clients, through the support for a team of Wealth Managers, smoothing the client journey time and allowing Wealth Managers more time in front of clients. These clients typically are more demanding and have higher expectations of the bank.
- Providing pre & post-sale support to Wealth Managers including valuations from internal and external investment houses, the preparation of applications forms and after sales processing to meet the regulatory requirement.
- Supporting the Wealth Managers on day-to-day activities including client planning, pipeline management, co-ordination with product partners and ensuring data and call reports are accurately and timely updated.
- Third party liaison, including discussions, correspondence and progress updates.
- Chasing of medical information from clients and doctors

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Excellent knowledge of HSBC systems, customer’s needs, the sales process and the regulatory environment we work in
- Recent Relationship Manager experience and understanding of the systems and tools the Relationship Managers use in their roles. (Desirable)
- Flexible & pragmatic approach with a keen eye for detail and a desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered HSBC customers.
