About the Role
As an Area Works Coordinator in London, you'll play a key role in organising and overseeing day-to-day facilities management activities within the not-for-profit sector. You'll ensure maintenance tasks are scheduled effectively, helping the team deliver services smoothly and efficiently.

Description
- Coordinate maintenance activities across assigned areas to ensure timely completion.
- Schedule and monitor work orders, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
- Liaise with contractors and internal teams to address any issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and ongoing projects.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all facilities management activities.
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests and allocate resources as needed.
- Support the team in achieving operational targets and service standards.
- Provide regular updates to management on work progress and challenges.

Profile
A successful Area Works Coordinator should have:
- Experience in a social housing organisation in an administrative capacity
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Confidence in communicating with contractors and internal teams.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using scheduling or maintenance software.

Job Offer
- Hourly rate of £15.00 to £16.00, dependent on the level of experience.
- Temporary role offering flexibility with potential to go perm for the right person
- Opportunity to work 2 days a week from home.
